The proposal is to convert the Quinta da Orada into a top-end tourist facility, preserving the original manor house for posterity. The house will form the central hub of the complex where hotel services will be located, complemented by a restaurant and terraces, “suspended” over a reflection pool; these providing a new and more contemporary setting for the manor. The reception area of the hotel is a small, transparent, connecting building, which links the manor house to the newly constructed, self-contained and inward facing wing that houses the Spa. Around this central hub of the hotel are scattered 13 bedroom modules, each with 2 suites on separate floors, and each with outdoor seating areas.
