Located in Cascais, the multifamily housing complex “The Link” is composed of two vertical volumes with similar features. These seven-story buildings house 40 units altogether, and also feature 3 basement levels with parking, storage and technical areas.
The compact volumes are occasionally interrupted by horizontal concrete slabs that register the floor-by-floor stacking of the construction process. On the other hand, the tile acts as a skin embracing the smooth vertical surfaces.
