Floene
With an emblematic location in the Torres de Lisboa, Floene’s offices required a reinterpretation to align them with new working models and contemporary
paradigms of comfort, functionality, and efficiency.
With a clear, contemporary, and functional architectural language, spatial fluidity is enhanced through the creation of a central core, which houses technical and sanitary infrastructure, organising circulation and distributing access to the various areas. This ensures an organic relationship between spaces and a harmonious working environment while freeing up the building’s perimeter for areas that benefit from natural light and views. A key design element repeats and meanders through the space, unifying all three floors in a single communicative gesture, it is the “wing plane”.
At the reception, an entrance lounge, characterised by the presence of greenery and abundant natural light, creates a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the
identity of the space. On the upper floors, workspaces are designed to be open and transparent. Open-plan layouts are prioritised, while existing rooms and offices feature glazed doors, ensuring both acoustic privacy and visual continuity across different areas. The lower floor is dedicated to complementary and creative functions, including a lounge/cafeteria and an ideation room designed to foster collaboration and innovation. Sustainability is a guiding principle in the selection of materials and the spatial organisation of the offices.
