Amaro da Costa

The buildings, while on distinct plots with different areas and volumes, share the intent of directing views to the South/Southeast. This is manifested in the design
of a series of vertical oblique planes that vary in size across different floors. The openings are interrupted by exposed concrete slabs, creating a rhythmic play of light and shadow that gives the volumes a distinctive materiality, especially on the side facades. At the rear, the openings are narrower and more discreet, punctuated by recessed balconies. The goal was to add a contemporary touch to the building and its surroundings without compromising its relationship with the environment, enhancing its morphological characteristics.
