Bayview 1

Plot 1 of Bayview brings together, at the eastern entrance to Cascais, the largest-scale residential component of the whole urban operation: 61 apartments distributed across four blocks of five and six storeys above ground, identical in pairs: Blocks A and B to the north, and Blocks C and D to the south, all positioned with different orientations to maximise sea views.

The apartments, with generous typologies and floor areas, all have balconies (some with planters framing the view) and private gardens on the ground floors. The façades combine strips of vertical garden with GRC panels, which give them rhythm. The roofs of all the blocks continue the vertical gardens, reinforcing the reading of a building that merges with the landscape setting of Bayview. Telescopic cranes installed on the roofs ensure the maintenance of the green roofs and vertical gardens. Access to the four blocks is through the interior of the plot, with the main entrance and concierge in Block B. Three levels of underground parking serve Auchan, public parking, the apartments and residents' visitors. Also underground are the communal areas: a residents' meeting room, laundry, swimming pool, gym, steam room, sauna and massage rooms.
