Tróia 37
Tróia, Portugal
Built on one of the plots closest to the dunes and shoreline of Tróia, this house explores an intimate relationship with its natural surroundings, integrating discreetly into the topography and vegetation. A carefully chosen palette of materials reinforces the connection to place.

The house appears as a series of staggered and overlapping volumes, opening to the eastern landscape, where the ocean and the Arrábida mountains come into view.
Organised across two floors, the layout clearly separates social and private areas. On the ground floor, the house extends outwards through verandas and patios, dissolving the boundary between interior and landscape. The social areas rise in height and open towards the pool, offering a bright and fluid living experience. On the upper floor, three suites turn away from the street and face the calm of the sea.

Troia 37 is made of silences, shadows, and open horizons — an architecture that adapts rather than imposes, responding to the climate, the light, and the landscape.
